WAY Investment Managers Limited manages the WAY Global Portfolio range of funds which total almost £200m of funds (as at 1st March 2010. Source: WAY Fund Managers Limited ). They are an in-house investment management subsidiary of WAY Fund Managers Limited and, in addition to the lead investment adviser Trevor Chanter, benefit from the skills and experience of an advisory 'Star Chamber' of external managers, many of whom will also manage specialist funds for WAY. Regular input from the Star Chamber will supplement the skills of the in-house portfolio management team, which in future will be responsible for asset allocation and fund selection for the Global Portfolio Funds.

Trevor Chanter (Chief Investment Officer)
Trevor Chanter has more than 25 years' investment experience having managed equity, fixed Income and fund of fund portfolios over the years. His roles have included portfolio management and research as well as delivering technical and investment views to clients at all levels. He was a senior team member at NatWest Private Clients before managing a team at Collins Stewart and more recently worked at FundQuest (previously IMS) with particular responsibility for family offices and a number of institutional clients. Trevor is ideally suited to manage the WAY Global Portfolios as he was an early advocate of the use of Fund of Funds portfolio style funds for clients.

Duncan Carmichael-Jack (Fund Manager)
Duncan Carmichael-Jack manages the WAY Green Portfolio Fund. Duncan joined Vestra Wealth from UBS where he held the position of Joint-Head of UBS UK Ltd. He began his career at JP Morgan Investment Management in 1991, moving to Credit Suisse Asset Management in 1994 as an equity fund manager. He joined investment boutique Laing and Cruickshank in 1999 where he held the role of Investment Manager before its takeover by UBS in 2004. Duncan was awarded a AA Citywide rating in 2007 for his management of the Elite Balanced and Elite Income Unit Trusts. For over a decade he has looked after a growing number of clients with ethical and environmental restrictions, investing in both direct equity and pooled investment vehicles. This knowledge, combined with his recognised fund of funds experience puts him in an ideal position to run this fund. Duncan works closely with the Ethical Investment Group in fund selection, which adds a further dynamic to the portfolio construction.
